Watch Doordarshan Digital Terrestrial TV in 19 cities

Doordarshan has installed Digital Terrestrial TV (DTT) Transmitters, based on DVB-T2 Standard, in 19 cities viz. Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Guwahati, Patna, Ranchi, Cuttack, Lucknow, Jallandhar, Raipur, Indore, Aurangabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, Ahmadabad, Hyderabad, Thiruvanathpuram and Srinagar. At Srinagar, work is under progress and DTT services from Srinagar Transmitter will also start very soon. At present 5 DD Channels, DD National, DD News, DD Bharati, DD Sports, DD Kisan/DD Regional and 2 or 3 Radio Channels are being relayed from these transmitters. In addition, DD National in HD format, DD India and DD Urdu are also available for viewers in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. With this, DD has started migration from Analog to Digital Terrestrial era. The DTT signal of these DVB-T2 transmitters can be received by the viewers in various ways: · Using indoor or outdoor receiving antenna and integrated Digital TV Receivers. · Using indoor or outdoor receiving antenna and DVB-T2 STB with existing TV set. · The signal can also be received in mobile environment in moving vehicles using antenna and suitable receivers or in Android smartphones/tablets using DVB-T2 dongles without use of any internet data..
