All India Radio Warangal has organized Akashvani Sangeet Sammelan – 2017 in a grand scale in association with Doordarshan Kendra Warangal. The Concert was conducted in centrally located Arts &Science College Auditorium, which has a capacity of 500.
Devotional Music By Smt K. Sudha Rani & Party from Visakhapatnam, Light Music Concert by Shri Suryanarayana Dikshitulu (Composer), Smt D. Surekha Murthy (Singer) & Shri Kalyan Vasanth (Singer) from Hyderabad & Team and Folk Music (Kannada Gondaligara Katha) by Shri Venkappa Ambaji Sugatekar & Party from Dharward have spell-bound the audience in jam-packed auditorium. The performance of all the artists shall be graded as of high quality and the cooperation of their respective parent stations viz., AIR Visakhapatnam, AIR Hyderabad & AIR Dharwad is excellent.
Shri R. Venkateswarlu, (Retired Director General & Advisor (SR – I & II)) who was the former Station Director of All India Radio Warangal has graced the occasion by lighting the lamp and formally released the Sangeeth Sammelan Brochures, received on 6.10.2017 evening. Later, it was distributed to the audience. The station has successfully obtained three Stage Sponsorships. M/s Andhra Bank (Warangal Circle), M/s Jaya Hospitals Warangal and M/s Swasthik Hospital Warangal have sponsored the programme. Local Press has widely covered the programme.
