All India Radio, Mangaluru in association with Udupi Zilla Panchayat will broadcast a direct phone in-programme from May 2 to 20 every evening for an hour from 5 pm. Listeners of AIR can interact with ZP officials on public grievances pertaining to panchayati raj department, various benefits that people get from various government departments and other issues during the phone-in, K Ashok, Programme Executive, AIR Mangaluru stated.
Accordingly, Priyanka Mary Francis, CEO, Udupi ZP will give information on benefits that people get from ZP on May 2. Srinivas Rao, deputy secretary will interact with listeners on Swachh Bharat on May 3. This will be followed by officials from department of health, backward classes and minorities and other departments. Listeners may call in on 0824-2211999/8277038000.
