Shri Basab Kumar Mitra, Programme Executive, DDK, Bhubaneswar will retire from Government Service on superannuation w.e.f. 30.09.2017.
Joined as a Production Assistant at DDK, Bhubaneswar on 22.05.1995, Shri Mitra was promoted to the post of Programme Executive on 03.12.2013 while working at DDK, Bhubaneswar. During his service career in Doordarshan for a period of 22 years and 04 months , Shri Mitra has rendered his duties sincerely in different sections like News and Programme Co-ordination and by producing programmes on Health, Drama, Music, Agriculture etc. He is an articulate, dedicated, hard working and disciplined employee of the organisation.
