The inaugural function of Hindi Day /Fortnight Celebrations was held on 14.09.2017, 11:30 am at the Studio Foyer of AIR Thiruvananthapuram. Smt. V. S. Komalakumari Amma, Rtd. Hindi Officer, V.S.S.C., Thiruvananthapuram was the Chief Guest. Apart from the inaugural function Quiz Competition in Hindi was conducted for the staff members.
Various Competitions in Hindi such as essay writing, noting and drafting, translation, debate, typewriting and dictation (for Group `D’ staff) will be held during this fortnight period. Winners of the above competitions will be awarded cash prize in the Valedictory Function of Hindi Fortnight Celebrations scheduled to be held on 28.09.2017 at 11:30 am at Conference Hall of AIR.
