Shri Gaurab Gangopadhayay AD(P) AIR Archives retired from active service of 34 years. He served AIR Kolkatta, AIR Delhi, ESD Delhi, AIR Hissar and DTPES. A thorough gentleman, Shri Gaurab Gangopadhayay was known as Gaurab Da among friends and colleagues. He was a dedicated broadcaster, programme management Guru and subject expert all rolled into one.
An avid reader, Gaurab Da was walking encyclopedia of literature and current affairs. For a couple of days he was not keeping well and had to undergo surgery. A farewell was organized on his superannuation at AIR Archives on 31.8.2017. His colleagues and staff refreshed the memories of days spend with Gaurab Da. DDG(Archives) Shri R.A.Warsi felicitated Shri Gaurab Gangopadhayay on the occasion.
