All India Radio, Markapuram entered into Silver Jubilee Year on 09.08.2017. In past 24 years, All India Radio Markapuram witnessed remarkable achievements in the service of the nation. Apart from all the regular programs station made a land mark and pivotal role of media between state government and naxalites in dealing with police kidnap case in the year 2002 saving seven lives.
In inaugural celebrations local RDO, DSP, Other dignitaries and staff were felicitated. A Cake is also been cut in the function. Program Head and Head of office Sri B.R.S.Praksa Rao reviewed the achievements of the station in this regard. Assistant Engineer Smt.M.K.Padma and all the staff of the station participated in the happy occasion.
