The three-day workshop on "Roster Maintenance, Monthly LOC and Web Based Receipt & Payment Accounts" started on Tuesday 27th June 2017 at RABM(P), Thiruvananthapuram and concluded today ie the 29th June 2017 Thursday. The Workshop was inaugurated by Shri. Radhakrishnan.S, ADP, RABM(P) who was the Course Coordinator of the Course do the inaugural address, Shri.Radhakrishnan upheld the need for maintaining a proper Roster for the deserving sections of employees and also called upon the participants to get themselves equipped with the latest advancements in technology in order to meet the requirements of the Prasar Bharati family in toto. Smt.Lekha Gopal, PEX welcomed the participants.
AOs, Accountants, UDCs and LDCs - belonging to various All India Radio Stations and Doordarshan Kendras in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala participated in the Workshop. Visiting Faculties dealt with the topics such as Constitutional Provisions for Reservation in Services; the Exemptions, Relaxations & Concessions available to SC/ST/OBC; Various methods of Recruitment & Reservations applicable and Maintenance of Rosters for Direct Recruitment as well as Promotion; Percentage of Reservation for Various Categories, Preparation of Roster, Initial Operations, Maintenance of Post-Based Roster, Reservation & Concessions admissible to the Physically Challenged, the Ex-Servicemen, the Sports Persons and also an over-all view of the Web Based Receipt & Payments during the three days. A detailed practical demonstration of drawing Salary on PFMS was also conducted on the last day. All the 20 participants actively involved themselves in the academic as well as practical sessions on the subjects on all the three days.
