Dr. Anand Prakash Srivastava, Programme Executive (Date of Birth : 01.07.1957) of this station is going to retire on 30.06.2017. He joined AIR on 30-12-1983 at Allahabad as Transmission Executive. He has also worked at AIR, Obra and AIR, Varanasi as a PEX. He has served the AIR approx. 34 years and given his precious contribution to AIR. As a Prog. Executive, he looked after Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Drama, feature, women & children, Coordination and Educational broadcast and farm & Home section. His contribution in programme production and OB based programme during Kumbha and Ardh-Kumbha has been precious. He has been gentle, well behaved and soft spoken to the staff. He has been meticulous and sincere to his work. He maintained a very good cordial relation with all wings of AIR. His contribution to AIR will always be remembered.
