30th Anniversary of All India Radio, Madurai was celebrated on 06.06.2017. AIR Madurai is operating 2x10 KW Medium Wave Transmitter on 1269 KHz and 10 KW FM Transmitter on 103.3 MHz. A function was organized at the office complex to celebrate the occasion. Kum. S. Ajitha, Director (E)/Head of Office in her address expressed her immense pleasure for the successful journey of the station and congratulated every one for taking AIR Madurai to this level. Smt. M Jothimani, AD(P)/Programme Head while addressing expressed her best wishes and remembered many popular programmes broadcast by the station. Staff members and Casual Announcers exhibited their talents like Singing, Dancing, Skit, Peom recitation etc. The programme went on till evening with full enthusiasm with a break for special lunch together. Everyone is determined with the same spirit to reach new heights.
