The National Award for the best Play back singer 2016 was bagged by Shri.Sundar Ayyer of Dharmapuri district. He hails from an agricultural family of Vellisandhai near Palacode. The award was given for his song rendered in the National Award winning film JOKER a contemporary satrical piece by the renowned novelist Shri.Raju Murugan. The citation recites the award is is given for the rustic flamboyant yearning voice for the lady-love.Shri.Sundar Ayyer participated in the LIVE programme broadcast today (12/05/2017) at 12 noon over AIR FM Dharmapuri Tamil Nadu and shared his ambition,future release and his love for music and not forgetting to mention that AIR FM LRS Dharmapuri is the first one to appreciate and honour. The national award winner was honoured and the live programme was anchored by Shri.R.Murali Programme Executive.
