The Documentary 'Do Kanth Vishpayi 'has been declared as The Best Women's Programme in prestigious Akashvani Annual Awards( 2016).
The programme is based on the story of struggle of Rashida Bi and her companion Champa Devi Shukla. The two women -- whose lives were destroyed by the Bhopal Gas Tragedy -- rose as sparks from ashes of destruction, and not only became symbols of the struggle of gas tragedy-affected women but they dedicated their whole lives for the rehabilitation of gas tragedy victims.In order to avoid the recurrence of a tragedy similar to Bhopal, they associated themselves to caring for environment and alerted the world against hazardous industries through various international platforms.
