International women's day was celebrated at AIR Amravati with full enthusiasm.A small get together was arranged in office premises, Station Incharge Shri Prakash Amale, AE AIR, Prog Head Smt Sunalini Sharma,PEX and Shri R.R.Deo, AE DD were present and addressed the function. The function was arranged by newly engaged Casual Announcers and staff members.The office entrance was decorated by beautiful Rangoli. Plantation prog was arranged and a Mango tree was planted in presence of all staff members.
Being the first women Prog Head of AIR Amravati Smt. Sunalini Sharma was honoured in the programme, also two lady Maharashtra Police Commandos patrolling our site and nearby area were called and honoured for their work by offering the Bucket. After that small games were played and celebration ended with Snacks and Tea. All members top to bottom participated in programme and gave respect to women by heart.
