Prakash Kelkar has legalised a will, in which he has donated 100% of his wealth for social cause, after him and his wife's death. 30% to P M Relief Fund, 30% to soldiers & their families, 30% to farmers & their families , & 10% to 5 different registered NGOs in Maharashtra. He has donated his father's paintings & he regularly donates food, money, blankets etc to the needy. He volunteers for medical & other social causes. Hon Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi has praised Sh Kelkar in his very popular & widely listened prog ' Mann Ki Baat '.
