Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visited Coimbatore to consecrate the statue of ADHI YOGI , release a book on ADHI YOGI in connection with The Maha Sivarathiri celebrations at Isha Foundation.Arriving to the venue by helicopter, PM addressed a very large gathering after consecrating the Statue and releasing the book.
'Yoga is a journey from Me to We" the PM said adding to that the Yoga is a passport to health assurance and it is a means to wellness."The people of this country ,who worship trees and animals along with Gods, lived in harmony with Nature" adding to that, PM reiterated "Women led empowerment is the answer for everything".Earlier Isha Yoga's Founder Jaggi Vasudev complimented The Prime Minister for "taking to the street to promote the ancient science of Yoga"
All India Radio Coimbatore has covered the event live in its both the channels (Primary and FM Rainbow) and the Radio Report of the same was broadcast in all the Primary and FM Rainbow channels of Tamilnadu and Pudhucherry.
