All India Radio Pune celebrated 68th Republic Day with great pomp and enthusiasm. Shri. Ashish Bhatnagar, DDG (E) and Head Of Office was given Guard Of Honour by Security Guards. Shri. Pravin Kulkarni (Trex) delevered a speech remembering known and unknowen freedom fighters. At 8:00 a.m. National Flag was unfulred by Shri. Bhatnagar . On this ocession he addressed the gathering and appealed to work with full dedication. All the staff of AIR Pune and some retired staff members were present. At last a Tea and light refreshment was served.
In HPT Hadapsar also 68th Republic Day was celebrated. Shri. D. K. Sudame, Asst. Director (Engg.)unfurled the Tricolor. All staff residing in HPT Hadapsar staff quarters attended the function. Sweets and light refreshment was served on this occasion.
