Dr.Digvijay Vaidya,Retd.Music composer,AIR Pune has been awarded prestigious 'Media Award' by the music foram in recognition for his substantial and significant contribution to the cause of Indian music.
The award carries citation and a purse of Rs.10,000/-.This award is conferred on him in the ITC Research Sangeet seminar 'Indian Music:Then and now'on 21st January 2017.
Dr. Vaidya is the recipient of 'Sangeetacharya'from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya for his research in 'Marathi Lavni ani Natyasangeet'.'Kala Ayurveda'is the book published to his credit.
