Indian Television Academy (ITA) Awards is one of the most awaited annual TV awards that honours talents from the telly world. The 16th edition of ITA Awards was held in Mumbai and was telecast last month on COLORS . The Program Prerna Awards produced under Shri. Mukesh Sharma's guidance for DD National, won the best TV Event (social) Award for the year 2016 among all Channels.
