All India Radio, Markapuram, Andhra Pradesh conducted Drawing Competition for school children in the station premises on the subject "SWACH BHARATH' on 11th November on the occasion of Children's' Day being celebrated on 14th November. No. of children enthusiastically participated in the event. Sri Jayachandra Reddy, DFO, Markapuram was invited as a special guest to distribute prizes delivered few words on the necessity of Swach Bharath and plantation of trees.
A Special traditional Archery show was conducted by Sri Lingamguntla Subba Rao in this occasion. In the event Sri Subba Rao performed the rarest abilities such as 'Sabda Bhedi', 'Blind Fold', 'Matsya Yantra Chedan with his traditional bow and arrows without fail created lot of excitement among the viewers. Sri B.R.S.Prakasa Rao,P.Ex. & Programme Head successfully planned the programme and inculcated the children on importance of the Radio in the society.
