Dharmapuri - Radio Set Collector having more than 1200 Radios

You might have heard of stamp collector the Philatelist, coin collector the Numismatic but what would you call a retired teacher collecting Radio Set like the great Gerry Wells of England who has collected more than than 1200 Radio Set. Shri.K.V.Jayaseelan, a retired teacher of Kondamandapatti of Krishnagiri District who has a peculiar of collecting Radio Set right from old Kreft, Murphy to the recent miniature of hand radio FM Set. Shri.K.V.Jayaseelan is an ardent radio fan for the last 42 years and his keen interest in listening to the famous Jaimala in VB Service. and the yesteryears of Listeners' Choice of Chennai Medium Wave.He has met many radio personalities like Shankar Anna of BBC.

Now he has settled with AIR Dharmapuri FM and actively participates in live programmes at the age of 70 years. "Age has not withered his interest".Recently he was interviewed for AIR Dharmapuri by Srirangam R.Murali Programme Executive for the 10th Anniversary of this station and it would be broadcast on 02/10/2016 at 11.30 am.
