AIR to broadcast Tutsa, Miji, Aka programmes

All India Radio, Itanagar station will broadcast programmes in Tutsa, Sajolang (Miji) and Hrusso (Aka) dialects from October, 2016. This was decided in a meeting held on Thursday between Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, Rajyavardhan Rathore, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, MLA Changlang, T. Pongte and MLA Khonsa, W.Sawin. The meeting was also attended by Director General, All India Radio, F. Sheheryar. Earlier, Union MoS, Home, Kiren Rijiju, Pongte and Sawin had called on Union MoS, I&B, Rathore to pursue the long pending demand of introduction of Tutsa, Sajolang (Miji) and Hrusso (Aka) dialects programme for broadcasting through All India Radio.
