In the lead up to the VIBRANT GUJARAT SUMMIT 2017, “GUJARAT TOURISM” had organized an event on “CINEMATIC TOURISM” at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar (Gujarat) on 29th August, 2016. “DD GIRNAR” was associated as “CHANNEL PARTNER” for the Visual Publicity, Coverage & LIVE telecast of the event.
Hon’ble Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting Ministry, Col. Rajyaverdhan Singh Rathore was Chief Guest on the occasion. Seminar was inaugurated by Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat Shri Om Prakesh Kohli. Well known Film & Television personalities, Shri Paresh Raval, Shri Naresh kanodia, Shri Abbas Mustan, Shri Madhur Bhandarkar, Shri Abhishek Jain, Shri Sudhir Mishra, Shri Aasit Modi, Shri Satish Kaushik, Shri Ketan Mehta, Ms. Deepa Sahi, Shri Ashok Pandit,Shri Indra Kumar Irani, Shri Siddharth Kak, Shri J D Majithia, Shri Mehul Kumar & Shri Suneil Shetty attended the Seminar including Chairing & actively participating in various scheduled sessions. About 1200 persons from Film, Television, Tourism, Hotel & Hospitality industries participated in the event. Students of Media & Communication, Art & Drama and Hospitality institutes also attended the event. Multi Camera Setup along with DSNG was deployed for the Live Telecast & Recording of the Seminar.
